On the United Nations International Day of the Family, Chief Families Commissioner Carl Davidson says today’s theme of “Ensuring work family balance” is highly relevant to New Zealand.
The Families Commission applauds the approach taken in the Bill, which treats the family as a unit for taxation purposes, and should have the effect of decreasing taxation for some families.
